In April of this year I was walking around the lodge at Wheeler State Park when I noticed that a great many bumble bees had staked out territories and were hovering in place guarding over their piece of ground. Each time another bee came by they would chase them away. The limitations of the hardware at hand prevented me from getting the shot I wanted. So, this greatly cropped and sharpened image will have to do.
