Now as I was able to do in the hijack thread...we're gonna play a new game. Your job is to list an actor/actress/band to Kevin Bacon in 6 moves or less. If you succeed, you list the next person to be connected to Kevin Bacon. If you cannot make this link in 6 moves or less, you DO NOT get to name the next link.
Sample::
Bee Gees to Kevin Bacon
Bee Gees did the soundtrack to SNF
SNF starred John Travolta
John Travolta starred in Who's Talking with Kirstie Alley
Kirstie Alley was in She's Having a Baby starring Kevin Bacon
The Bee Gees to Kevin Bacon in 4 moves.
Link Tom Cruise to Kevin Bacon (you have 6 moves or less, if you fail, the next person can steal)

Zsa Zsa Gabor was in Nightmare On Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors, A (1987) with Laurence Fishburne
Laurence Fishburne was in Mystic River (2003) with Kevin Bacon
I thought the only thing Zsa Zsa Gabor did was some cheesy Sci-Fi outer space B movie in the 50's .... Some kind of Queen of The Amazons or some such trash
Paris Hilton???
Well considering how many link to KB, I guess even Paris Hilton is a possibility.
Remember, no cheating...IMDB only.
I'll be back soon with the answer...hopefully

Paris Hilton's "One Night in Paris!" Tape with Rick Solomen
Rick Solomen was Shannen Doherty's Ex
Shannen Doherty with Christian Slater in Heathers
Christian Slater with Kevin Bacon in Murder in the 1st

Mae West appeared in the 1970 movie, Myra Breckenridge with Tom Sellack. Who was a guest on the Rosie O’Donnell show.
Rosie O’Donnell was a guest star on the TV series, Will and Grace, where Kevin Bacon was also a guest star.

Ok...for you Curt, I'll give you a clue...
The link to me begins with a Canadian rocker turned movie soundtrack balladeer. Get this clue solved and the rest should be easy.
And Ron, the game has ALWAYS been Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon...as it seems that EVERYONE in this world...at least 99% of them are somehow linked to Kevin Bacon. He's apparently much more popular than folks give him credit for.

I think Kevin Bacon was deliberately chosen because he is a bit more obscure, ie less famous so it is more of a challenge to make the links. Also probably because his name works as a pun (ie "Six degrees of seperation" and "six degrees of Kevin Bacon") But you can play this game with any celebrity.
I am NOT linked to Kevin Bacon...not evolutionarily...not genetically...nor by group association...ditto spiritually!... I have not attended a single Kevin Bacon Fan Club meeting...I have never purchased a single "Karma For Kevin" T-Shirt in any color or size, whatsoever...I have no McDonald's Triple Thick Shake Kevin Bacon Commemorative plastic cups in any of my cabinets...No Footloose DVD's, Videos, or soundtracks anywhere in my audio/video collection...You'll find absolutely no Kevin Bacon-inspired cologne or after shave amongst my toiletries...No 36" x 48" Kevin Bacon poster (not even rolled up) memorabilia of any kind...No Kevin Bacon alarm clock on my nightstand (yeah, right..complete with armpit hair as he points out the time with his greasy-a**ed hands) ...No Kevin Bacon cell phone holder...No car freshener shaped like the head of Kevin Bacon (hate to imagine what THAT would reek of)...No Kevin Bacon-themed wallpaper or screensavers on my computer...No Kevin Bacon...NOTHING!
The only links to bacon I have are Oscar Mayer strips next to my morning eggs ...thank-you-very-much!!! :)

Well Curt you got the connection right, however, Bryan Adams is not my cousin...but I did party with him after a concert that he did opening for the Police...which by the way was a kick-ass concert!!!
I dont remember if Bryan Adams did the Pink Cadillac soundtrack, but he was in a movie which connects to KB...oh, and for the record, Clint also has a connection to KB.
So until I go IMDB'ing to check your answer, I'll say you are definately on the right track!!

Well Curt...looking up the soundtrack listings...there are 10 songs, but none of them are done by Bryan Adams...so sadly, that link is broken there. ..dont cry yet...you are correct though, as he did have a role in the movie, as a gas station attendant...so that gets us to Clint...either make the Clint connection, or find the Bryan Adams/Pink Cadillac connection...either way, you are one step away from solving this mystery.
I have faith that you'll do it...and don't worry, I dont leave for a couple of days...but I will be busy geting everything packed and so on for the trip, that I may not be on as much.

I can! JFK had happy birthhday sung to him by Marilyn Monroe, and Marilyn Monroe was in "The Misfits" with Eli Wallach, who was in "Mystic River" with Kevin Bacon.

OK Mum.... here we go. I'll be building off the previous Bryan Adams/Kevin Bacon connection... You see Bryan Adams did a duet with Tina Turner, "It's Only Love".
Takeing another step back...
Tina Turner Perforomed the song, "Golden Eye" written by Bono of U2.
and back again...
Bono, of U2 fame, along with Bill Gates, with his wife, Melinda, were named by Time Magazine as the 2005 Persons of the Year for their humanitarian efforts.
Curt...I'm sure it wasa typo...or Sam just wants to be a party pooper because you beat him to it...because as far as I can tell Francis Bacon cannot be linked to KEVIN Bacon or Bill Gates...
...and as for that wedgie...when you least expect it Curt...I'll get you back!!!

The original theory behind "Six degrees of seperation" (upon which this game is based) is that anyone in the world can be linked to anyone else in six moves or less, so it SHOULD be possible...
Because, It is somewhat possible to make the link. You see, Francis Bacon can be linked to Queen Elizabeth I. and Bill Gates can be linked to Queen Elizabeth II, as he was knighted by her. It then falls to finding a plausable bridge between the two queens. Though Queen Elizabeth I was the queen of Scotts, that monarchy pretty much ruled side by side with the English monachy, until the joining of the Crowns, wich leads to todays Monarchy, and the current Queen Elizabeth II. So, in a round about way, and quite possibly, way more than 6 degrees of seperation, these two people are linked. :o)
SO, if you are willing at accept that tenuous link of the Monarchy's, all that remains is to do the final linkage back to Francis Bacon...
Francis Bacon was the youngest son of Sir Nicholas Bacon, Lord Keeper, by his second wife, a daughter of Sir Anthony Cooke, whose sister married William Cecil, Lord Burghley, the great minister of Queen Elizabeth.
But I was referring, in resting my case, to the link of 'knowledge'. Francis Bacon said that knowledge is power, and Bill Gates helped spearhead the information (knowledge)revolution, so I guess that's one link - though not through a person. I like the monarchy angle, but I am sure it can be done in less links. I shall try...
What? No one wanna tackle this one? OK... Here's the answer...
1) Charo appeared in the late TV series Fantasy Island with Ricardo Montalban
2) Ricardo Mantalban played Khan in the Wrath of Khan, in which Kirstie Alley played Lt. Savik.
3) Kirstie Alley also shared the screen with Elisabeth Shue in the Woody Allen film, Deconstructing Harry.
And...
4) Elisabeth Shue played the “Love Interest” to Kevin Bacon in Hollow Man.
Cary Grant was in Bringing Up Baby with Katherine Hepburn, who was in Love Affair with Annette Benning, who was in American Beauty with Warren Beatty who was in Bullworth with Oliver Platt who was in Flatliners with Kevin Bacon.
This one has been done before!
I was following the line ... David Duchovny appeared in "Kalifornia" with Brad Pitt ... Brad Pitt was in "Meet Joe Black" with Sir Anthony Hopkins. Now then ... yours ...
Holy moly ... *starts googling like he has never googled before* ... *looks up to check* ... yes, she did say Dr. Dolittle ... *goes back to googling*
