Just thought I would share a link to some new software from Adobe that is in Beta until January 2007. It's supposed to be helpful to photographers and digital camera enthusiasts. Read more about it here: Download.com.

Let me know if you like it Noah. I haven't downloaded it yet myself, and apparently it's been available for a few months. I just saw *free beta* and thought some other folks here might enjoy trying it out.

I got it...I tried it...but I have nothing to fix up. :( When I imported ALL my images into the library, my computer crashed. Lol, so, I think i'll edit 1 by 1 from now on.

I think it's pretty cool...but I havent really tried it yet.

Most of my recent posts have gone through Lightroom. I really like it except that it can be really slow, but I'm sure Adobe is working on that. The one thing that it's missing right now is a save as option. For the moment you have to send it to photoshop as a 16bit pro photo rgb image. From there you can convert it to a 8 bit adobe rgb or srgb if your going to post it on the web.

I'm also using it a bit at the moment. It took a bit of getting used to, the interface isn't as straight forward as Rawshooter but the control you get is outstanding. I agree with the slowness, it will certainly need addressing in the final version.

Chip, have you tried the export feature to save your images, it's only available under the file tab when you're in the develop section. It's got the usual choices jpeg, tiff, psd and dng and the images can be 16 or 8 bit.

Cheers..........
