Just curious to know if there are ever any scheduled "Caedes Chats" or if the IRC chatroom is only for moderators & such. I've been in there a few times, but it appears I'm the only one. Unless you're all *hiding* in *secret places*. Are you??? :)

I was in the chat room a couple of times, but it was months ago & even then there was nobody else in there much. only one time did I go in there & there were 2 other people besides myself & that was before Christmas.

I've been in there a few times it used to have a few people in there but then all of a sudden people stopped going in.. don't know why.... Be careful its haunted in there.. lol...

I think we should plan some chats, because all of you fun people would be that much more fun in real time, I'm sure!

It might be cool to have some topic chats as well... say on Photoshop Q & A, How to Take Better Photos, etc.

Personally, I think probably the off-topic threads took the place of the chatroom, so there was little need.

I was trying out the chatroom today ...no-one wanted to talk to me!....So I 'cried' and sodded off?

Well how about this... if anyone is not too busy... how about we shoot for a Friday night chat party from say 8pm EST - 10pm EST? People can come and go as they please... but I will try to stay in there during that time and see if I can drum up some excitement. I'll even run around naked in between typing into the room if that helps stir up interest.

Whaddya think? Anyone interested?

Indeed… I showed up oh… almost 9 mths ago… and jumped in w/both feet. The "Inner Circle" is open and welcomes new members… you just gotta toss in your 2 cents or they don't know you exist! 8•P

I consider everyone at Caedes extended family... and as that goes, sometimes we're dysfunctional or don't talk to eachother everyday... but we all show up for the good food at the reunions! :)

The only way you WON'T fit into this "tight" group is if you are undeniably, without a doubt, certified SANE. And since I have yet to meet a sane person here at Caedes...feel free to jump right in and stir things up. We promise the hazing will be quick and not too unpleasant--although it is a pre-requisite that all newbies bring beer.

I agree Tim! That was fun... but if it's too hard to schedule fixed chat times... anyone can post here when they feel like gabbing and anyone can join in! But I think it'd be cool too to have some planned chats. Maybe a "meet the moderators" chat? Or a Q & A with the mighty Caedes himself? What about a Halloween Party chat where we all change our avatars to include "costumed characters"? I like your new pic btw!

Planned chats are interesting, but you have to remember that there are so many different time zones.. for eg.. your nights are my days.. lol... aint no way i'll be here at 3am (my time) to join in..

whats the point of having a set chat time for certain ranges... most of you guys are asleep when we get on here.. and most people have real things to do in their lives like work and family.. so i cant see too many people wanting to stay wake just to talk to a few people from downunder.. lol.. i'm lucky i work nights so i get to hang out during the day until i fall asleep at the computer...

And Jackie ... very true. The different time zones make it difficult sometimes, I should know from my talks with Jackie, either late at night or early morning ... & my talks with Jenn ? I'm crashing as she's getting going, since I live on the East Coast & she lives on the West Coast

So I kinda think we should just wing it ... maybe set up a Saturday or Sunday instead, & just let folks float in as their time & schedules permit.
