I am running a photo competition at work as a team-building experience (insert gagging here). Although I trust my co-workers to submit some beautiful images, I'm a little worried about the evaluation skills of the managers I've chosen to act as judges.
I will be meeting with the managers/judges in Perth, Australia at the beginning of October. Can anyone recommend a professional/semi-professional photographer in Perth whom I could contact about giving a half-hour lesson in how to judge photography? (images are mostly going to be landscape, with a few people and macros thrown in).
Oh, I have every intention of giving Caedes instructions to these guys!! Problem is, they're the super-high-strung executive types who won't read anything a minion like me gives them. Thanks for the links gents!
I've been trying to remember/find this site since you posted this thread but I only managed to find it today: Christian Fletcher. I don't know if you'll be able to get him to give a talk or not but the site is worth a look anyway.
