i had a great day at the zoo with my camera, and on my last reel of film(the best shots) it ripped while winding back, i dont think i exposed too much light on it, but i managed to get it out while hiding in the wardrobe, and was wondering if anyone knew if there was a way i could rescue it!( i dont have a darkroom set up!....)

Things have changed since I last used film but I wouldn’t want it going through an automated developing system which might tear it some more. Your best bet might be to find someone who will hand load the film into a developing tank for processing. You might find someone like that at the visual arts department at a university. You could also ask round the camera / photography clubs in your area.

There are three colours, Ten digits and seven notes, its what we do with them that’s important. Ruth Ross
