I have approximately 40 images in my gallery. All but one have a spread of 3 points between the two indexes with the Cindex the higher. Just one has a Cindex of 59 and and RCindex of 72. I'm wondering why that is. Seems totally out of the norm. Has anyone else run across this odd spread in their Caedes Control?
first off .. the R-Index is only of interest to mad scientist types .. it just showed up on our collective doorstep one day, crying, kicking its feet, and demanding food and attention
my understanding of it is .. it's how your image ranks in its category .. so THAT particular image "stands with a fist" better than your others, which are just "dancing with wolves"
I believe there was another thread that mentioned the same thing. From what i gathered there is a good chance all of your images are in the same catagory execpt for the one, (perhaps a contest entry or something), so they are all adujsted the same amount so they are level with other images in different catagories.
Lord it's hard to type when laughing so hard at your reply Beanie Boy ... How can such an innocent face beneath that propeller hide such sharp wit ? LOL
Thanks for the link Keith ... I thought I had some understanding of CI vs RCI ... just couldn't fathom the seemingly complete disparity of 13 points in this one particular case. I think I'll just ignore the situation as I see no reason to give this RCI "abandoned orphan" any more food and/or attention. LOL
Just read Milo's comment above ... (Twice) :o) He probably hit the nail on the head. The image I questioned was in the "Abstract" genre. The only one I have in that catagory. Thanks Milo ... you're comment has some validity. I'll bow out of this thread more well informed now and with my brain more muddled than ever.
