Wow! I am amazed this website is free. What a treat to view and be able to use all these beautiful photos on my desktop. I have wasted countless time and money looking for a website such as yours. I have paid and subscribe to many websites and none of them can even dream to have such wonderful works of art. I wish I could take such beautiful photos. I thank you very much for this privilege, sharing your treasures.

I'd hate to burst a bubble here, but if you are going to use images for anything other than wallpaper, please ask the artist.

Glad that you enjoy the images. You can always show your appreciation by donating to the site and becoming a member of the Caedes Cadre. As a Cadre member you won't have to see any ads on the site.

I on the other hand prefer seeing the ads. =P

Well do you "ad blocking" guys ever think that those ads are "paying" for the content on the site? Running a website (especially a wallpaper site) isn't cheap. With the amount of users Caedes gets the site needs to be run on a dedicated server thats very expensive. Now if everyone blocks the ads shown (without donating to the site) then Caedes.net would no longer be able to be run.

Having ads displayed on a page, while you enjoy the content, is definitely not to much to ask... or is it?

It's not, but it's definitely nicer to just have a sub. Plus I get to upload 2 images every day instead of just one..=)

Three dollars a month for the enjoyment derived from viewing and uploading images, making friends and sharing thoughts and ideas is small change compared to many other amusements. Besides, there's lots of advice, links, discussions, fun, etc. that wouldn't be available if the site could not survive financially.
