Today is October 13th & it just so happens to be my sister Alice's birthday. Alice is my baby sister by about 2 years, and on May 9th, 1999, Mother's Day, she passed away from Breast Cancer.
I don't honor my sister's death by putting flowers on her grave on or about her death date, rather I do it around her birthday ... because I'd rather celebrate her life. I'll be away this week-end on a planned trip, but my daughter Desiree & I will be going down to Marion Ohio next week, during the week.
Help me honor my sister's memory by clicking on the link below. It'll take you to The Breast Cancer Charity site where by a simple click on the big pink tab, you can help some woman less fortunate than you or I get a free mammogram and hopefully save the life of someone's mother, aunt, cousin, daughter, or friend .... or someone just like yourself.
Thanks everybody ... hugs & kisses & see you all Sunday
I'm watching the Browns lose their game beautifully against the Bills due to 6 turnovers can you believe it !? Anyway, I figured it was time to click & give the gift of hope today. :o)
Again, the Veteran's Site which is right there alongside the breast cancer link. You click that tab daily too & they help fund free meals for homeless vets.
Heeeey, I'm back And I am clicking daily. PS--Lauren hit me up on FB and send me a PM with your address, I have the luminary from this year's Relay for you (I just need to remember where the safe place is that I stored it) ♥J
We as artists look upon the world in many different languages. There are those of us who see sadness, pain, suffering. But if we do not occasionally look and see that there is love and laughter, what's the point of looking at all?
