I just bought the Olympus E-500 with the two-lens kit (14-45mm and 40-150mm. Topped it off with a 2 gig memory card....

funny you should say that... seeing how my 'third eye' was a reference to my camera...

and funnier still, i occasionally wear glasses for night driving and tv (slightly near-sighted)

*update* i spent an afternoon in the Bronx Zoo (very big, very extensive array of animals and landscape) in a word.... WOW! shooting with this camera as opposed to my other one is sort of like someone wiping mud off their glasses for the first time. i love this thing, and yes, i'll be posting pictures soon enough :o)

I wish i could share that analogy with you, but um...wiping mud off glasses hasnt been one of my experiences. I think i know what you mean though.
