I'm currently working on a powerpoint presentation for one of my classes and i love the images on this site. I was wondering if someone could tell me if i am allowed to use these images on the powerpoint presentation. Of course at the end i woudl list the image and the author who created it. Or do i have to contact each person and ask for permission? This presentation is not getting published its just a one time thing. Any comments?

i'd adapt a rule of thumb of just asking whenever you want to use an image for anything other than your own personal use..on your own personal computer.. nice that you want to credit the artist, but you should still ask..

A simple explanation of how you'd like to use the image & a polite request in a PM to the artist should do the trick.
