I've noticed recently that alot of entries from past contests are gone from the galleries. I assume this is due to people "trimming the fat" from their own galleries... maybe people are doing it without realising, but I think it would be nice to leave any contest entries you might have uploaded in the past so we have a history there.

umm *cough*...i apologize. I trim the 'fat' off my gallery to keep everything on 1 page. :-S

Perhaps, as a suggestion ... some sort of notification, such as being placed in the permanent galleries, could be attached to those images ... in addition to this public notice?

I was actually wondering about that myself.

Not that I would delete 50% of my gallery at the present time. :oP

The images I was referring to were already in the perms... all contest entries a permentalized after the contest finishes as a matter of course.

It's not site policy or anything (although we do avoid deleting any contest entries when cleaning the other perm galleries), I just think we should keep them around.
