I'm not asking for a comment, these are just here for you to look at, and maybe even request a full size/high quality scan of. The setting?

Nepal.

First Image <-- Namche Bazaar from above..the worst quality of all the images here.
Image2 <-- Prayer flags and a little rock religious prayer thing of rocks with mountain bg
Image3 <-- Paragliding w/ mountain bg
Image4 <-- Rice terraces, and a little house with two ppl, who look like dots in the image.
Image5 <-- Wooden bridge that isn't exactly fun to walk over.

Caedes Sweater Macro...just to give an idea of the print quality after 3 washesish.

These two are pretty good if you like landscape shots IMHO:
B&W Version1 <-- From Teng Boche...or is it Tang Bochee...hmm, u get the idea. Mountains in the background.
B&W Verstion2 <-- Pic from a helicopter of....umm, a river in Nepal. :-S I think it's the Bote Koshi.

Interesting shots of Nepal, thanks for sharing! Just wondering, what kind of camera did you use to shoot those? Some of the shots have a bit of an older feel to them (seem soft around the edges, or maybe it's just me) :S.

They were taken with an F80 (I think it's the european version of the N80...which is the same camera, different name). They were all orginally slides and they came out nice and clear (without the 'soft edges'). Then i used a Pentax Optio WPi on its macro setting to take a macro shot of a slide w/ a flourescent (i hate spelling) light behind it.

Since the slide and the light bulb's diameter are about the same size, some of the slide didnt have the nice backlight so yeah...u get the idea.

What does this button do?
Dont complain about your job... ;-)
Wha? huh? Traffic jam!?
Ahh, the dust!<-- See the people to the left of the helicopter (the helicopter's left, not your left)...see them bending over? ;-) No, dust in eyes not very fun.

An F80, that sounds familiar for some reason... is that a Pentax (can't remember)? Ah, yeah that would make sense with the light source not giving out proper lighting, oh well what can you do eh?

The new shots you posted are amazing! Great job!

Nikon F80 = Nikon N80 (i think). It's a film slr camera. The pentax is what i took the pictures of the slides with.

If you come from the link in the Member Initiated Project forum....the 'last post made by me' is the the one made at 4:47PM 12/08/06...not this one.

The Toilet...plz dont click on this if you are sensitive to 'gross' things...(it's not THAT gross, but just a caution note). Plz complain if you want me to remove it. *I expect comments on this one* ;-)

Ppl picture

I have some Dashain pics...uh, related to car insurance (in other words i'm not putting a link on this site for *some* reason). >_> Just in case you wanted to see something different, a change from the usual flower pic.
