Pearl Harbor .. @ .. sflistteamhouse.com

Yesterday, December 7, 1941 - a date which will live in infamy - the United States of America was suddenly and deliberately attacked by naval and air forces of the Empire of Japan.
Franklin D. Roosevelt

as a side note: .. I used to work for an electronics retailer .. a VCR (of Japanese mfr) included a page in their manual for setting the clock ... the date used in the example?

December 7

also .. I used to live in Hawaii .. and I have been to Pearl ..

Interesting find, the photos surely are stunning! It's amazing the devastation that occurred.

"To photograph is to hold one's breath, when all faculties converge to capture fleeting reality. It's at that precise moment that mastering an image becomes a great physical and intellectual joy." ~ Henri Cartier-Bresson

This is quite find Keith. Thank you for the link. The pictures are incredible. One cannot help but wonder what was going through the minds of those people on the ground that we see in the pics. This is well worth taking a minute and studying our history. There is so much to see.......
Again, thanks ;=)

They are incredible photos, especially considering the technology they were using back than. They are all interesting but I think number 14 is a doozey.
