What's the best and worst things that happened for you in 2006?


Hmmm, me....? Went on my first cruise ever { a Disney Cruise} back in Jan/2006...to St Thomas and Saint Maarten. That was gorgeous!

Can't think of anything really bad-bad in my world for this year.

It's been a great year for me, growing closer to many of the best friends I have ever had, here on Caedes site.

Best: finishing my thesis.
Worst: working on my thesis.

Worst.....Holiday No1 in June....Coach heaters stuck on red hot? all the week we were on it!..In temperatures of 100 plus F...

Best........Holiday No 2.........'Magical'?

Well 2006 pretty much sucked...but the good part of that is that I survived it all and discovered a strength I didn't think I had...and I did get to go back home for 2 weeks and visit my beloved Hawaii.
In fact since Dec 2003 the following years were pretty awful...so I am hoping that after running the gauntlet for a couple years, that 2007 will be awesome!!! Which at least part of it should be...my bro and his wife are expecting a baby mid-year.

2006 is/was pretty much the worst year ive ever had in my life. The only good thing was a met a whole bunch of family i had never met before and now my heart is crowded with more people :)

Yup, thats the only good thing that happened. The rest of the year has royally sucked.

The good part of 2006 ? Well, we bought a new house, moved into it & met some very nice neighbors. The better part of 2006 ? My new kitchen with my black granite countertops ! w00t !!

The worst part of 2006 ? Finding out my daughter was sick and dealing with her subsequent health issues. On the other hand, it helped bring a divided family closer together & to try to get beyond the anger and work at the base issues.

Kind of a yin/yang sort of dealie going on.

best of '06? Joining Caedes, and re-discovering my photography.
worst? found out the hard way someone wasn't who they claimed to be.

Worst.. there has been a few bad times this year... I hope next year will be better

Bestest: The purchase of my Surround Sound system, hasn't not been used for a whole day, almost always on >:D
Bestester: Playing soccer for another year, WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!

Worstest: Recieving a telemarketing call while writing this >.< (Seriously, it happened O.o)
Worstesterish: Finding out that i got dropped from Extension science 1 to 2, now i only have 1 friend in science >:(

Oh....my COOKING was at an all-time WORST 2006.
I used to be good at cooking....almost considered opening a cafe...
but now....I start cooking something and forget it as I play on Caedes....and it just burns....?

Best - Spain. If you don't know the reason by now, I'm not re-explaining it. I'm busy.

Worst - Actually, most of '06 was pretty crappy.

Best- when leigh told me he loved me

Worst- when my nan died in may

Hmm the best in 06, can't quite say there is a single thing I could pick out beyond being generally thankful for friends and family.

The worst... there's nothing like learning of a loss of freind to remind you of your own mortality.

Best...I made it through another year.

Worst...now I have to try and do it again.

Worst: Having my camera and laptop stolen the same night

Best: Going to San Fran ans Big Sur with my parents. Big Sur is sooo gorgeous! Shame I didn't have a camera for it though ^_^

Sheesh....you need a different group of friends.

oooh....thought of a worst! / worsts

TWO cats cost us a fortune.....Squiggy, 3,200 surgeries & vet bills, and last week, Nessie cost 719.25 in surgery....:(

But they are both healthy & fine...as is my third cat, Phoenix...:)

Best: Finding my lifemaniac 8•D and of course all the fun I've had hanging out w/the peeps

Worst: Small medical problem/waiting FOREVER for my bonus & raise to show up.

Worst: my relationship broke up, I find myself being 27 years old and single after 4 years relationship.

Best: I got a job so I really don't need any man financially. And my migraine has eased a lot, thanks to the right medication.

Best - The 1st night in our new home (a get away in upstate NY)

Worst - The death of my mother.
