Impossible? Misunderstanding?
If it said: "Subscriptions (1)" etc, then that means one of your images has recieved a comment...people drop by and make comments for fun you know. :)
If it said "Request Comment" then the website is asking you to comment on that picture. You dont have to, but that's what it's there for.

Well that is what I'm saying, the big thing came up saying under request comment, and was a request comment
Maybe I don't understand how it works... but how did my picture get nominated to ask people that (including asking myself)

I'm 17 and don't travel much. But I tend to bring my camera around just to catch what sticks out from my everyday goings. (pardon me if I speak my mind)

Usually it is a result of too few commentaries on any given images' page.
Now, as to what constitutes an image page with too few commentaries?
Of that I am not sure. I could hazard a guess and say it might be the actual number of commentaries, or perhaps, a Kb count on the actual size of disk space used.
Just an anomaly in the case of getting one of your own ... but, I am curious ... did you like your composition? :oP

keep in mind i'm asking this with a healthy dollop of humor, but a thought just crossed my mind, and i thought i'd be a fool and actually share it.
i'm wondering... if everyone out there got their own work in the VB, how would they score it? if scoring genuinely had no impact on an image's future, thus eliminating certain motivations, what would you, my fellow caedesians, affix upon your own work?

on my last image, it would recieve a 6, the one b4 that would get a 7, the river shot would get a 7, my orange fractal would recieve a 4, glass balls a 6 (it looks good), tiny white flowers 6 (it has a good dof + it's happy), mountains would get a 7, etc etc etc....
