I don't really see a need for a separate cubby hole ... the photography forum gets very little in the way of activity ... if you take away my attempts to jumpstart it

I like the idea, and suggest a further step, separating fractalists from 3d rendering, that way each major group gets its own discussion/tip area.

Now Tim...that is just being picky and snobby.. if you want to do that just make another site exclusive to whoever you want to talk to... incase you've FORGOTTEN... THIS IS A COMMUNITY group which means we all live here and interact with each other.. it doesnt matter if your a fractalist or photographer..

I'm not saying that's a bad thing. I'm just saying Photography is much different than 3d rendering, which is also much different from making fractals. I was just stating that the best advice comes from those who do the same thing. I couldn't give any advice on making a fractal, but I might be able to give a good sugestion for a 3d render.

I think these ideas might make more sense when/if there are more people using the forums. Right now I don't think there would be much activity in a forum specifically devoted to CG/3D/fractals etc... as Keifer mentioned there is barely any activity in the Photography forum...
