I've noticed over the past few days that it's so much easier to post an intelligent and correctly spelled comment with the new changes in the Word-type style. I couldn't find anywhere else here on the discussion board where this had been brought up, so I guess it's sort of a thank you from those of us who were running off to the dictionary to check our own spellings :) Whoever thunk/think/thank that one up...thanks :)PJ
wha? .. huh? ... :o) .. are you using Firefox 2 ? ...
they incorporated spell check into that .. and, by-the-way, you can add words to your own dictionary so that they aren't flagged as wrong (right-click on the word and say "add to dictionary" ... or .. if it is wrong, choose a correctly spelled variation
If I misunderstood what you were saying then I will underline myself in red
Unfortunately, mine is now highlighting almost every word I type as incorrect. Does anybody else speak any Welsh? Dydw i ddim yn rhugl ond mae well gyda Firefox Cymraeg!
Oddly, some Welsh in the previous paragraph seems to have persuaded it to accept the English, too. But doesn't work in this one...
I assume I can change it, so will have to see about that unless Welsh takes off on Caedes in the imminent future.
No, I'm saying Firefox appears to be using a Welsh dictionary by default. Presumably, I need to get it an English one - or, at least, point it towards the right shelf.
If Firefox didn't already have one, how would it know that "Margali ydy'r enw fy nghath" is correct (except for Margali which it likes no better than English)?
I sniff things before I taste them .. learned that from my dog .. who insists that I might poison her at any minute ... I can hand her twenty pieces of fillet mignon .. and she will sniff each one before taking it
