IRC chat problems

I myself am not having problems but I've known a couple of other people who are having problems getting the irc chat to run. One friend came into the chat and every few minutes it would through her out. One person couldn't get in at all.It's quite difficult to carry on a discussion that way. Are there any other people having problems?

I certainly am, and have and only got in once only to be thrown out almost immediately. I'd like some guidance on this too. :)PJ

There are two clients for the IRC chat, the Java one and the HTML one. If one gives you a problem, then try the other and see how it goes.

Neither one of the versions seems to work for me. I think my ZoneAlarm isn't on friendly terms...I'll have to try setting that. :)PJ

The HTML client works fine for me.......the problem I have is conversation's with myself whenever I am in there ;=)
