I assume you are using hyper mode. I noticed a few other people complained about that. I just checked and no images load for me in hyper mode either. This would also explain why you are saying that the other galleries work (new images is the only one with hyper mode). Until it is fixed I suggest you just click where it says "switch to normal mode".

"New Images" Gallery won't load in Firefox (PC or Mac) anymore. Worked fine last week.
Other Galleries work fine.
