When is a manipulation not a manipulation?
I put a small picture into a larger picture - this seems to be a manip. Someone puts a bird, on another branch, in another pic - and this is a bird classification -or makes a landscape pink and textured - but this is landscape? I state these *only* as examples (real), but sometimes I do wonder? It doesn't mean much to me, other than puzzlement.
i personally feel a manipulation is when it is obvious that you have done something and that is the point of the image. A good example is inside the frame. Adjusting some colors (as long as they stay realistic) or taking out some bad looking power lines, or putting something in, that usually isn't the subject, that is could very easily have been there isn't a minip. That is my opinion, and it probably doesn't line up right with the way images are put in the gallery here, but ya, take it as it is.
