and I would like some comments. As I am trying to improve, also very critical comments are quite welcome and appreciated. Thanks to all in advance.

Like Noah mentions, there's not too much that can be made better. But something that I spotted that may be able to be adjusted next time you run into a similar situation, is the reflection in the window. To me, in this photo the reflection of the street is kind of distracting and draws attention away from the main subject. To remedy this try using a circular polarizing filter for your camera.
How the table and chairs isn't in the center of the picture or how they aren't centered under the big window kind of stick out to me. But with these qualms there's not much you could do about that with the corner so close or without getting trouble from the cafe owner.
All the best in your future photographic endeavors! Looking forward to seeing more of your work!
"To photograph is to hold one's breath, when all faculties converge to capture fleeting reality. It's at that precise moment that mastering an image becomes a great physical and intellectual joy."
~ Henri Cartier-Bresson
Given the subject matter I think you probably did as good a job as possible. It's a good shot but I'd say the subject isn't interesting enough for some people.
Many thanks to all for the comments, especially to Canuck_Photo_Guy for the tip on the polarizer. I will definitely buy one. About the centering of the table vs. the window I don't think the owner of the cafe would have appreciated if I had started rearranging the table and all :-)
they work best at 90 degrees to the sun, or other reflections?...so I think they wont work if your taking a photo straight at the glass since the reflections are comming from where you are standing......so most of the reflections will remain. err, i've been wrong b4.
If you have a DSLR, get a polarizer for your biggest lens (widest). My dad bought a red filter for a 52mm diameter lens and it wont fit on the other two.
Anyways, polarizing filters are, like, a must buy for instant sucess - pun intended.
