Anna Nicole Smith has died. She collapsed due to presently unknown causes, and was rushed to the hospital, and well… they didn't manage to blow her back up. Okay, that was mean. I apologize… in any event… she didn't make it.

The interesting questions in this soap opera… Well… I guess that photographer who demanded a dna test to prove her new baby is his will finally get his dna test. So far this is eerily similar to her older son's death, which was ruled an accidental drug interaction. Did her former husband's family come up w/some new poison to do away with them all?

Speaking of her former husband, there was still that court battle w/her stepson over whether she got any of his estate. Well… I guess the stepson's estate? Cuz he's dead too. So uh… does her estate continue to sue his estate over the old one's estate? Flow Chart please!

Okay… I realized that was a slightly ridiculous question… cuz her lawyer… the supposed father of the new kid… has been hanging around FOREVER waiting for payday. He ain't givin up now just cuz she's kicked the bucket!

My suspect is Howard... creepy man.. creepy... guess now Entertainment Tonight will be axed.. due to lack of "Anna dramas"... ;)

I'm just afraid somebody might revive her horrendous show .. *shudders*

While yes, Anna was a bad parody of a Marilyn Monroe wannabe, who contained the majority of her IQ firmly entrenched in silicon.

All kidding aside, I think my roomate kinda hit it on the nail, when she said:
"What is it about this gold digger? Where is all of this hub-bub that is going on about her death coming from? Where was the outcry when Coretta Scott King passed away, who played a big role in the fight for civil rights? Have our nations values really changed that much?"

Granted, Anna was a living person, with friends and family, but what was she really known for to have granted her the status of a Cultural Icon? Being a Playboy Playmate?
One thing is for sure, she was fodder for the media.

Are we really that sensationalist oriented, that someone like Anna's death overshadows that of someone like, activist Coretta Scott King's?

would now be a good time to point out that there's a decent variety of toxins, many of which are undetectable, or highly maskable, which cause symptoms mirroring OD's and many 'natural' causes? doesnoonefindit strange that Smith, her son, and whomever else..are all dead..within a short time frame? just thought i'd put that out there..

well to jump on the soap opera bandwagon...she had just been granted her day in court...and half a billion dollars is alot of moola...her kid died under suspicious circumstances, and 5 months later she's dead--without any known signs of illness, so it is on tox reports that she perhaps od'd...but why would she do that with a brand new baby...which paternity is being fought over, and a 3rd player has just entered the daddy arena (anna sure got around)...and her dead gazillionaire husbands son recently died...so who is left standing, and in line to inherit all these buckaroo's upon the death of the rich son, anna, and anna's son...all of whom are now dead...lets line up the suspects here...

Does anyone here find it a bit ironic that Howard Stern, the radio personality, was ANS's absolute hate, but the father of her baby is her lawyer, Howard E. Stern? That just seems a bit strange to me. I think HS, the lawyer, did it. It came back to bite her in the butt. She married that oil tycoon, who was about 90 (I'm guessing), and was just waiting for him to expire so she could take his dough. Now HS did it to her and is going to get her money.

Nope....anna's baby girl will inherit Anna's money ..( if it is ever awarded to her). I vote M/M be the childs foster mom ;-)..And who the real father is, I have my own suspicions.. but will wait to see what the dna tests reveal

I think the whole thing is sad myself. That poor baby girl ! This reminds me of the hoopla with the Onassis clan when ol Ari croaked off.

The Only thing Anna had in common with Ari .. was .. when she'd eye your food and say .. "Are ye gonna eat that .. or can I have it?"

in my short time over in the states now, I have been curious if anything else is happening in the world as every channel i see on tv has this bloody story on it - whats the big drama? do a quick dna test on the kid find out whos the daddy close the book on it. or am i being too simplistic here?

Yes, that would be too easy and would end our soap opera early. My sister assures me that actually, she'll be returning next season and it will turn out this has all been a dream.

also .. we don't have Royalty to keep us entertained .. we just have Anna .. well, we used to .. I'm hoping her baby can step up to the plate and fill her shoes

and .. the sooner the better

and I DO believe with all my heart, Howie did it....
I did not judge Anna when she was with that old oil dude.....hey, he KNEW she was NOT there for LOVE...he was sane....so if he felt she was worth that much money, it was his money to spend....and more power to her for having the stomach to sleep with him for that much money...but then...I think she had a VERY strong stomach...and made many trolls happy. Sadly.....one troll was as calculating as she was about sleeping his way into cash gash.......
