Yeah, my last image also has recieved an unusual low score...baffles me. ;-)

Really, I love that image - and i think it's only blurry b/c i just woke up - but i would have voted ....mmmm, 8. If it really is blurry, try avoiding that, and I also think it would be good if the picture took up the full 1600x1200 px....even though though it comes out of the camera with a different ratio. Oh, did I say it was a great pic?

I would have given it 7 or 8, so it is a sign of this week. Not only for me, but a lot of pictures got this week a lower c-index as they deserve. I wonder why ... and I hope this will soon end!

I think my main criticism of that image would be that there is no centre of interest/focal point. I suppose some people would also see it as "messy"/too busy?

Just out of interest, how does everyone know what "this pic" refers to? Is my browser missing something? I originally thought it was an oversight and would get corrected, but now I'm thinking I'm just being very dumb.

I can not really give any advice as to how to improve it Jen - and it has increased significantly in votes. I would have placed it higher though. It does have a blurry area in the centre but the overall etherealness of the whole thing compensates for that.
Perhaps without the borders there would be more of a feeling of 'being there' .
Good grief, I'm agreeing with Noah LOL

Oh, thanks. Duh.

I suppose I should read thread titles occasionally...
