Is anyone else having problems loading thumbnails? They load about 1/3 and seem to stop, eventally loading completely. I have never had this problem before. Will be here all night at this rate lol :)

Try switching to normal mode. Hyper mode doesn't seem to be working properly.

Yep,having problems here too... Thumbnails load fine in normal mode. But it lags out when you go to the images page or open it full size.

Ok I can remember putting on hyper mode ages ago but now I can't seem to find how to reverse it :(
Perhaps I am having an elderly moment - it must be here somewhere but I can not find it
Help!!

That's OK.. it's not an elderly moment, you are experiancing a reversion back to your early youth. (Yeah... I like that one.)

OPen the new images gallery, and you will find it up in the upper right corner.

Thanks Curt - staggered my way there and switched to 'normal mode' but actually it has made no difference :) and I still see 'switch to normal mode'
I may try another browser, at the moment this is like walking through treacle.

Well now it has changed to be able to switch to hyper mode so I guess I am on normal mode - but the thumbs in my friends list still refuse to behave. :( In fact now all I am getting are the placemarkers.

Keith I know enough about computers to know how and when to clear my cache, and I did, more than once, it was not that.
So I will keep my cash.:)
Within the last 5 minutes everything has returned to normal anyway.

I'm curious: does hyper mode setting persist for other people as it does for LynEve? I have always had to reset it if I restart my browser, along with any other viewing settings, of course. I always do the resetting as soon as I've logged in, but I've never found the any of my settings left from my last visit.

It sounds to me like your browser may automatically empty the cache or similar? My settings stay the same...

Shouldn't be - it isn't set to do that.

Is it cookie dependent? That might be why. I don't allow sites persistent cookies unless essential. It isn't essential here, so I only allow session cookies.
