Okay, I want to get a band together. So.... are any of you musicians from the general cincinnati, OH area?

The genre would be ..undetermined, mainly rock, but I try not to limit to one genre. My main influences are Progressive-Rock (bands like Dream Theater, Yes, Porcupine Tree, Queensryche, etc.), Metal-ish (Tool, Metallica, etc), classic Rock (Led Zeppelin, Kansas, The Beatles, Jethro Tull), awesome-music (coheed&cambria, the mars volta, etc) and folk (Bob Dylan, neil young, bright eyes).

I'm 15 years old, and live around the cincinnati area (OH). I play every intrument in the typical band, but I'm mainly a guitar player (also play drums/bass/keyboard). I've already started writing a few songs. The songs i write are long, progressive, and I try to make them not very mainstream.

I'm looking for a keyboard player, a drummer, a guitarist, and a bassist. And I'll play whichever one of those I can't find, but i'd prefer to play the guitar.

Ummm... correct me if I'm wrong, but this may not be the best place to be looking for band-mates.

never know..i'm guessing an assortment of talents run the gamut with our members here... although from some of the fractals and CGI work i've seen...i wonder :P
