I seem to remember reading that having an assignment of some kind is helpful to keeping one's photography fresh and cementing learning. I certainly feel like my photography could do with some freshening as I've barely done any of late :(
Rather than getting all fresh by myself I thought I'd see if anyone fancied joining me. I'm proposing issuing a (sort of) regular "Morat's Assignment" with the following fairly simple features:
1 - Each assignment will be around a particular photographic technique or theme.
2 - To give ourselves a target each participant should aim to produce an image worthy of caedes upload. However, if you just want to keep it to yourself that's fine too.
3 - I'm certainly not up myself enough to ask for a gallery dedicated to this (nor would I expect to get one ;) so if you upload an assignment pic just post a link to it in the forum message for that assignment.
I suppose I'm suggesting that this is a bit of a photography focussed thing, but all are welcome and encouraged to participate. I don't have a whole lot of free time myself so if I suggest more than one assignment in a month I'd be amazed.
So are there any takers? If you're interested then please post in this thread.

Tell me some crazy stories, let me know who runs this show
Glassy-eyed and laughing, he turns and walks away
Tell me what made you that way
