i can't figure out why the website has become verrrrrrry slow for me in all ways. have any of you noticed this or is there something wrong here? thanks!

I've noticed too, but it isn't all the time - so it _could_ be because this is a cable connexion, but the timing suggests it's a site issue.

The image server is slowing down the main server while it refreshes its cache of the images. The load will gradually lessen as the image cache fills up.
