Well thanks for noticing. It does appear to be doing better now. There was a combination of issues that caused the slow-down, and they were all started when a certain hosting company shut off the image hosting server. I have a replacement now, but I'm still looking for a more permanent host for it. I would use the same host that I use for the main server, but I'd like to have a separate host for backup purposes.

Image loading is much better, but I'm still having a slow time of it trying to do jobs -- commenting on friends' posts, loading non-image pages like subscriptions list, etc.

I've had the odd blip in the voting booth - I usually back out and try again later, and it's cheered up again. Maybe everybody's busy voting today!

Well, you have made lots of people happy. I marvel at people who have the skills to deal with these kinds of issues. Thank you.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

Thank you caedes for solving those issues. However, after days of working bliss, I'm having problems in the VT and on some friend's images. The images just won't show. Thanks for the help. :)

We are so many to complain when the site is slow or when we can't upload, and we are so few to congratulate Geri for the wonderful work he is doing, day per day, to manage caedes.net.
Thank you so much !!! :-))
