I was wondering what i could do to actually improve the image. I'm thinking about sending it into a competition (maybe) and is there anything i should do other than:

Re-Edit/PP in RAW
Larger dimensions
Less grain/noise
Try not to blow out highlights in PP..or should i leave the blown out clouds in the lower part of the sky?

I'm not so sure about:

How much is too much saturation...i'm kindof unsure.
More, less, or ok brightness?
Is the sky too bright?
I'm thinking about a 8x6, but maybe a 6x4 b/c it's going by mail?...uh, 20x16. :D
Any other pointers?

here for more info...its for us highschoolers in wa. :-S Not exactly expecting to win after seeing previous year's entries (er, and seeing that there are 4000 entries)

Anyways, i'm probably going to send it (if i can get the form signed) probably by thrusdayish...oh, hmm, i got to print it and put it on a board + 'glue' very soon - so umm, 28th is the deadline.

I wonder if your 'over amping' of the contest entry held you back .. you should have tailed the judges, observed what sort of things caught their eye, .. tasted the drinks they left, unfinished, on the table, .. sampled the cold french fries
