Transports me, that music does ... to another place ... where time stops ... thoughts ease ... and my heart opens ...
Cleanses, would be another way of looking at it.

She is a master of photographic manipulation and visual imagery, and yes ... I do detect notes of Eastern, as well as, Asian influences in her work.
Hard to place her, though ... original and unique probably says it best.

where to start??? i don't have ONE fave...it depends on my moods. when i'm stressed out, i'm a parrothead. when i'm chillin, its fleetwood mac, when i'm cleaning its def leppard, when i'm pissed its metallica, when i'm feeling cool, its stevie ray vaughn, on long trips it the eagles, when i'm feeling the love its definately earth, wind and fire that gets me into the mood...my musical tastes are so widespread...but if i was stranded somewhere and could have only a handful of faves...jimmy buffet, the eagles, fleetwood mac, queen, ac/dc...and of course my beloved barry...i'm a major fanilow!!
