Pat (Pat Andre) has asked me to inform her caedes family that her beloved husband Ernie passed away peacefully today (April 24, 2007) at their home with Pat by his side. Ernie was ill and has been suffering for awhile now. Pat said to tell all of you that she is doing fine and expects to continue doing so in the coming days.
My deepest sympathies, Pat...I know you are a strong woman but whenever you need us, we are here...and remember, you've got all the Promises in the whole Bible on your side.
Due to the recent slow down of the site, my comments and thank you's have been few as it was very time-consuming...will catch up ASAP...meanwhile, a group thank you to all and keep up the great work everyone.
I will always think of Ernie with the mental picture of him in his wheelchair, pointing out sunsets for you, Pat.
I know the bittersweet feeling you have...knowing his suffering is over, but mixed with the pain of your loss. But I'm sure you know that all you need to do is look toward those sunrises and sunsets and you will feel his love and smiles shining down on you. You are strong and much loved. God Bless You and Ernie.
Hey there Mister Madman, wat'cha know that I don't know
Tell me some crazy stories, let me know who runs this show
Glassy-eyed and laughing, he turns and walks away
Tell me what made you that way
Having been through long illnesses w/2 family members, i know the relief that they are no longer suffering mixed w/the sense of grief and regret... no matter how much you knew it was coming. I'm sure he will be both missed and kept alive in your memories of the better days.
*You will have noticed that I haven't been commenting as much on your fine images!..This is because of the pains in my hands!..the constant use of the keyboard, makes this difficult..so, my dear friends..I can only apologise to you all in advance!*

I would rather live my life as if there is a God and die to find out there isn't, than live my life as if there isn't and die to find out there is.
