I have returned... to the thousands of the caedes masses this won't mean that much.. but to everyone here who knows me i'd just like to apologise for my protracted absence, many things have been going on and after my brief outing as a semi-professional artist (with the Fantasy Landscapes for the D13D group) i suffered a massive art burnout..and did nothing with my computer except for music and GAMES.. so many hours wasted.. lol....

I'm currently working on some incidental graphics and symbol work for the same project... and its reawakened my desire to get back into things again... so tomorrow i fly out to amsterdam for a 4 day holiday...I'm taking my camera with me.. and when i get back i will return to Caedes, so prepare for some fresh GRiMifications in the photomanipulation gallery... YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

Is that D13D group you mentioned the one who contacted you via the discussion board? If so it is great to hear that people are finding work from the site! The benefits of being a caedes fanatic are truly limitless!

Hey Graeme! It's good to know you are doing alright and soon to be back in action here. Only a few minor changes here at Caedes since you left on your semi-pro artist outing. There was a site software update and a new server, which we're pretty happy with.

I know about the art burnout... Just got to have some time to recharge your creative energy. I have taken up to 3 months to get back into artwork after getting burned-out.

I myself have had two different independent bands ask me to do their album covers because of Caedes, plus there is the possibility for me to do at least some inner-cover artwork for another band that is signed to a major label, in the near future. I tend to like these jobs because musicians understand about giving an artist some flexibility.
I did professional work in-house for a graphics company and I turned out some spectacular pieces for them, but I can't share them with anybody because the rights to the images belong to my employer at that time. I am not even supposed to still have copies of them after I quit.
