Hey! Well I was just wonderring if any of you did any extreme sports or any kool hobbies that I could try....; Example: Mouaintain biking.... Painting...;Tell us about it...
I currently do:
+ Mountain biking: With my Jeep commando (value of CAD 850$); I didn't want a bike made for offroad because I wanted to be able to use it for all roads...; But the only thing is that the front shock sucks! I would get a new fork but I have no money to spend on bikes...; I eather bike in the forest (Pretty crazy) or in town there's this place made for bikes...
+ Rock climbing: I do some in a gym... It's not just one wall or anything... It's a BIG rock climbing gym, from begginner (5) to expert (I have no idea what's the number I never went on the upsidedown witch is about 150 feet in the air)...
+ Skiing: I started 3 years ago; I also bought 3 pairs of ski; I like jumps; Tryed a half pipe; Not crazy enouf for rails.... This year I'm planning on trying a snowboard...
+ Going to the movies
+ Laserquest
+ Designing/Web develloping
+ Programming
+ Djing...
well i do web developing too. Not for any company, just for myself. And lets see....Recording music....If you really want something fun, learn to play guitar =)
paintball is too stinkin expensive though. I even got a free paintball gun (i found it in my backyard belive it or not!) and its still expensive, like for balls, CO2, park entracne fees, etc....
well guitars range from price extremly. ie $99 to $40,000. And you will get the quality you pay for...(but once u pass the $5,000 range, the quality doesnt get much better...its just like classics and stuff)
Ok thx a bunch... There's this place called dalarium close to here.... It's like paintball but instead of paint it's rubber balls..... My friends go all the time but I'm like nah.... I don't feel like getting striked by rubber balls... :d hehe..... no padding? no thank you lol :D
It seems like you almost all do paintball... You still like it even tho it hearts like a.....? (Sorry for the peepl who doesn't like surcasim).... Well I like my heart-free laserquest! :D
Thanks for all your comments! Write more if you can! :D
Well I never tryed paintball or when to dalarium but I hear it hearts so I don't feel like getting heart lol :D But if I get invited I'll try it... I guess.... I have nothing to loose... except for money and depends where the ball will hit!
just wear extra clothing.. I did that the first time I went, and it nulled some of the pain.. As for getting hurt, last time I went I was shot from about 3 ft. away in the back by my own teammate (it was an accident).. Sure it hurt, but I lived and still love to paintball! So I guess the moral is, the fun overrides the pain in this one.
I used to rock climb. But now I play Russian roulette with a forty five auto. Its just hard convincing the other person to go first. LOL. I know, what!
I used to rock climb untill one day my velcro went ssscccrrreetttcccchhh on my harnes and I froze to the face petrified with fear I have had Vertigo ever since. I would not mind I undid my harness to check and it was fine if I fell @ that point I would have been brown bread. Cant walk over a bridge without getting clamy palms now. But going to jump out of a plane to attack this fear I reckon. Wwweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Mother ......? Splat.
Archery isnt really extreme unless you are on horse back shooting at people. . .which i am not able to say i have done. . .damn. i really want to though
If the automobile had followed the same development as the computer, a Rolls-Royce would today cost $100, get a million miles per gallon, and explode once a year killing everyone inside.
