It would be nice, if it's possible, to have an info box on our profiles. Something similar in size to the thread posting box, where we can give a little info about ourselves, the software we use and projects we are working on etc. I will understand if it's not possible due to possible abuse and having to be checked by a moderator?

You could already do that .. with "occupation" and "projects" .. people will figure it out soon enough when they see words like Canon 5D, Photoshop newbie ..

we have a hard enough time getting people to fill in the blanks that are there now .. I usually want to know whether somebody is an M or an F .. 12 or 120 .. and general location .. but, with that whole "people are creepy" thing going on in the world today .. a lot of people think they are safer not giving out that info
