My understanding of 'karma' is the more comments one makes the more one recieves.
That has been my experience.
Any one unknown to me that comments on my images I usually view their gallery and almost always find something I want to comment on. I do not see it as a 'duty' or 'tit for tat' - just another way of discovering new and interesting work I may otherwise have missed.
Likewise, when I comment on an image by someone not on my list of friends, at random from New Images, I very often recieve a comment in return.
So I still say to Kevin "Increase your karma and you will find you get more comments."
