Okay so I took these landscape photos, and while looking at them later I noticed the picture using flash discolored the horizon and the lake, and I didn't want to lose the color I saw.
I know this isn't grade A photography but I just want to see how my photoshopping skills are...
Notice the discoloration in Link2. Is there a way I can fix this on my camera without having to photoshop?
Anyways, here's the photoshopped version. I wanted to keep the grass in the photo while not having the orangey look in the sky.

Also, I wanted to know if there was an easier way of doing this. I just paint brushed everything black on Link2 that I didn't want (Sky, Lake, spots in between trees) and used the Difference blend. Is there an easier way to do this or is this the correct procedure?
Umm...i think when you use the flash, the camera changes the white balance. Try using manual white balance in the camera and fiddle around with it until you find something that works.
