Well .. I don't use IE, but I will chime in nonetheless (why stop now?)
no, it's not just you .. for the last, say, 3-4 months I have noticed more hiccups with throughput from the site .. a few more stalls while downloading things like forum pages, or thumbnails for image approval .. it will just stop for 30-45 seconds, then continue (these could be internetwide and not caedes specific) .. and a few more failures to load the c-ite
I stopped using IE when it stopped working with Caedes.net .. I switched to Firefox and, while I don't wish to pimp their wares, you should check it out if you haven't already .. it has been a saving grace to several members that I know of .. and a scurvy dog to a few, admittedly .. (*shrug*)
the simple fact that it is customizable with all sorts of doodads .. you can have both installed, if you wish .. and it will import your bookmarks, etc. ..
It stores bookmarks as an HTML page, not as single files, like IE .. storing as HTML allows all the 'illegal' characters that a filename chokes on due to PATH and wildcard conventions .. they don't even have to have file names

Not sure if this is a related issue, or if the site's servers are out on a coffee break, but none of the pics are appearing anywhere. Anyone else having this issue?

Operation aborted
It doesn't seem to happen on every page. It may just be a bug in IE (Version 7.0.5730.11), or a fault caused by something on my PC. Just wondering if anyone else is getting the same problem?
