I noted with interest the very high ratings my "surf's up" shot received the first few days, only to go sharply down the last two.....kind of curious how that can happen and whether or not it can be deliberate....
at the risk of sounding cavalier, one's man's trash is another man's treasure. different people vote different ways. Do I agree with alot of the votes cast? far from it. but the votes tend not to paint as accurate a picture as one might think.
sorry. I can't comment any further without opening multiple cans of worms. scan through the older threads. this has been discussed and argued(including by me) ad nauseum
thanks for the link.....interesting; curious; that is all I will say at this point.....my surf's up shot started at 83 with over 10 votes and then down to the 60s? something is peculiar..and besides being my picture, it is an excellent(which some of mine are not).
it is a drop of 14 in the scores which isn’t a great deal. As was pointed out in the linked discussion, the initial score of 83 was most likely not from 10 votes but from an initial smaller sample and hadn’t updated as fast as the vote tally does. This has always been the case. It’s a fine image but isn’t without its flaws so the larger average sample vote better reflects that than the initial handful that were no doubt cast shortly after it was uploaded.
