okay i am learning to do this fractal art. I have apophysis and Chascope. Is there anything that i would need to download to go with the program. I have Chaoscope 0.3.1 and Apophysis 2.05 Beta 2. any help at all would truly help me out a lot

No, nothing you NEED .. as far as Apophysis goes, there are scripts, but you don't NEED them until you have an understanding of the basics .. and there are other versions of Apophysis, that other people have augmented (primarily with new variations, not a complete re-write) .. I would be happy to link you to them .. but I am going to hold off for now so that you aren't overwhelmed .. take it a step at a time ..

RE: Apophysis .. when you feel comfortable, explain your "process" with this program, what you've grasped, and what eludes you .. and that way we can help you with specifics, rather than throw a lot at you from left field

also .. one thing to keep in mind ..

A lot of us upgraded from Apophysis 2.02 .. written by Mark Townsend .. and it came with an installer program that set up a folder structure, and came with scripts (some of which still work .. others of which don't)

Apo 2.02 was only capable of 12 triangles (transforms) .. and the scripts, basically, said "use all transforms" .. well, now, apo is capable of 100 transforms (and a brief stint at 250) .. so, therefore, most of the scripts render little more than MUSH

the current version of Apo are just an executable file (the program) .. they don't "install" and create a folder tree ..

scripts marked with "BATCH" will process ALL of the flames in the current list of randoms .. the others will just process the flame in the preview window

if you ever collect a script that BATCHES the entire list, but, yet, doesn't have BATCH in the name .. go ahead and add it to the name .. because, sometimes, you may not want to lose all of the other candidates

(*and running a batch script on MORE than 100 flames will, generally, crash the scripting aspect .. and you'll have to close and reopen apo to get it back*)
