I have a wide screen monitor (1440 x 900) and I was wondering if there is a consensus on Caedes about what looks better in terms of the "stretch" algorithim for XP, a 1600 x 1200 downscaled but 4:3 aspect ratio or 1200 x 900 upscaled (16:9 aspect ratio)

What do people prefer here, downscaled but skewed by the 4:3 aspect ratio or upscaled but bits the aspect ratio ?

Interested in your thoughts ?

not all images are going to be available in all aspect ratios .. they will either be close to 4:3 .. or .. 16:10\9


caedes.net used to only accept 4:3 .. and recently opened the limitations to "any" aspect .. even 1:1 (square)

so 99% of the images here are 4:3


interfacelift.com offers both .. but they don't have comedians who ask that you send them your monitor ...
