How can I create a "spark" on Photoshop??? Cause I have a lightning bolt striking a pool of lava and need a spark coming out from the strike point... Someone please help???

Try "Filters -> Render -> lighting effects or Lens Flare". That might give you the effect you want...

create a transparent layer - paint small white and orange blobs in an approximate spray formation and then use the motion blur or wind tool to get the required amount of movement you need. once you've done that you can experiment with duplicating that layer and play around with the layer blending options using the colour burn and dodge options to create very contrasting and hot looking colours. hope that helps.

Alternatively, track down Panopticums Fire plug in for Photoshop (http://www.panopticum.com/ps/fire/fire.shtml) that has a spark generator as well as all it's fire effects. if you can't find it - ask santa - I think its about $40.
