i'm growing slowly more concerned with theft of my images, not that i don't trust any of you, but i'd like to be reassured that my artwork will remain my artwork,
does anyone know of any decent and consistent ways to watermark an image without disrupting too much?, maybe a logo in the corner with a screen/or something
suggestions?
What's wrong with putting text on the image? You can adjust the transparency of the text if need be. What does watermarking do, and can it be cropped off?
And this embedded "Marking Data" disrupts the quality of the image depending on the "lasting degree" of the watermark. The longer the watermark lasts the more the image is disrupted.
I know of the brand digimarc, but like u mentioned it needs to be subscribed on fee...
i don't see much of it around here, but are any of you concerned with theft and copying your stuff?
if so, what steps do you take, and if not, do you feel safe in assuming that no one will do such a thing?
lol, theres good info there but the freeware that does this watermarking is not info thats embedded into the image but text over the image(copyrightleft) as for the program that jsbOPS mentioned, i got that too but i 'm not sure i understand how to embed a watermark on pics using that....Sam, so i take it u subscribe to digimark, is it worth it?
