hi everyone i am new to the disscussion board can some help me navigate myself around! I must say this site is just awesome has some of the best images i have ever seen purely amazing! Also i need some advice on the best hosting package for my new and upcoming website that i will be building for a buisness it needs a ecommerce and needs a domain name in .com probably but im not sure because we did have a try with 123 - reg but they want £649.99 for a package to cover this little adventure is there cheaper if so could you let me know?
Welcome. Navigation...the forum off-topic section is a great place to meet folks, shoot the breeze, and have fun. The art sections are very educational and can help one to develop better photography skills. The EG, is the place where threads go to die...usually naughty threads, that didn't play well with others. The uploads section allows uploads once a day (with 10 comments) for the "common" member. Karma doesn't mean anything other than you talk a lot/give lots of feedback. The C-Index is much debated...and no..."popular" members do not get better photo ratings. The FAQ's are an ABSOLUTE MUST READ...chock full of valuable info. The voting booth helps members who may have had their work overlooked somehow get a "second chance"...please visit it often.
If you are coming to off-topic frequently...beware...we are evil and ruthless, and will hijack a thread at a moments notice...we will torture and tease and generally have a grand time in the name of fun...and it IS in the name of fun...and despite all the torture, we are a family...a dysfunctional family, but a family...many members here have seen me through the dark days of chemo, with a daily PM or email of hope, cheer and love.
So again, welcome.
PS--I have no idea about a hosting package, but Keith and Phil are pretty smart cookies and may chime in with help.
