I noticed alot of images of mine receive a disproportionate amount of views to downloads. Are people stopping by, just to see who created the image? Are you seeing my work, and hating it? Hard to know what's going on, since very little is said. Just thought I'd ask.
without actually doing any research into your numbers, I will say .. even an image that has "quintessential" wallpaper appeal, can really only hope to garner a 50% ratio of dlds to views .. (based on my casual observations over the years) .. anything over 50% and you should consider it a success
if an image is more 'personal', more artsy, do you 'get it' image .. well, then, all bets are off
Maybe I'm missing it, so sorry. But, I wouldn't consider your "flight of the speckled goose" a wallpaper-y image. Not with that thingy (boat or dock) in the piece. Now your untitled that's a two for one special there...a nice work of photography and a sweet desktop wallpaper!!
