Well, to do what I did requires climing to the top of the 22nd highest mountain in New York (Armstrong) and have a friend take a picture of you looking at the 10th highest in the state, Gothics. Totally free, but it is a fair amount of work. :-D

Most of the people in this site create their own icons, Adobe Illustrator and ASquareImage are good programs to assist in this.

I make my own. I use paint to do the pixel art, then I drag and drop each "cell" into a GIF animator. Then play around with it till it's under the regulation 5kb.
