PhaseOne are offering the beta version of the next release of Capture One as a free download. Capture One Pro has always been just about the best RAW processing tool so hopefully v.4 will continue to improve things.

To use this program
Widows users need:
1, To leave a valid e-mail address so Phase One can send you a password.
2, Windows XP SP2 or Windows Vista.
3, Microsoft®.NET Frameworkversion3.0.
4, 768 MB memory or more.
Mac users need:
1, To leave a valid e-mail address so Phase One can send you a password.
2, A G4 or better.
3, 768 MB memory or more.
4, OS X 10.4.8
Note that both versions cease to function on November1,2007 and that it’s a twenty meg download.

thanks Robert, I forgot to mention that PhaseOne normally do a purchase upgrade offer i.e. buy the current version for a reduced rate and get a free upgrade to the new version. I'm assuming the same will be true of V.4.

The new Version 4 of PhaseOne’s RAW capture software is out of BETA and available now as a full product or upgrade. This is just the update to the LE version by the looks of it, version 4 of the Pro Suite is due early next year.
