I, personally, find it difficult to comment anymore without using the dreaded "wallpaper" word .. as there are those, here, that claim that the lifting of the size limitations coincided with the banishment of the dreaded "wallpaper" word

needless to say, I disagree with that

if it is your artistic vision to post the types of images that you have .. who am I to try and lead you astray? ...but, if you wish to gain a wider acceptance, you need only open your eyes and mind to a different paradigm

create fanciful images, moody images, colorful images, humorous images, cool images ... anything, really, with wider appeal .. need examples? .. look around! .. am I saying follow the crowd? .. no, I am not .. be yourself, always .. even if it means you continue to post the type image that you have already ...

I feel that images and composition angles existed in each of the scenes you presented .. but you chose to be different, to avoid showing me the "norm" ... maybe this will payoff for you at some point ... art is, they say, subjective .. beauty is in the eye of the beholder .. and I can ONLY speak from my viewpoint .. these are just my opinions ...

Done and done ... as in, I commented on a couple of your images Stephen.

I do agree with Keith's words above.

And would hope, as I have seen more evidence lately on the site here ... that artistic images falling outside desktop wallpapers be welcomed by the community at large.

Your one image, namely; "Tiny Little House In The Trees" seems to have struck a very good balance about what Keith is referring to. It is indeed a fanciful image and technically a good one as well for use as a pleasant desktop.

Keep up your efforts, work on your technical skills and editing ... you will find your audience, I trust. :o)
