I dont bite, most of the time o_O
Welcome to the site, you've got a good start as far as images and conversation
You should try rendering at higher resolutions or perhaps artificially enlarging your photos. You want to upload at the highest quality possible 1600x1200, 1280x1024(odd shaped), 1280x960 etc.
I would love too render at a higher res, one slight problem, Venger (Yeah I named my PC how geeky am I?) only has a 1.8 ghz processor & throws a fit or takes forever for larger images/higher res, so till that gets upgraded (soon I hope) I am still stuck in the minor leagues as it were res & size wise.
& till my 2nd PC comes back online I cannot sit around looking at a screen rendering an image for over an hour when I "should" be working on my sites or patrolling the corridoors of my forum. >:]
I do tend too work at 1024 X 768 as that is my preferred size & desktop setting. & most of the stuff I make or do is usually for some web application etc so its practicality as well as preference.
However, when I got the power & such I will prolly knock out some bigger sized stuff so people don't think I am snubbing their chosen settings. (:
cool stuff, perhaps you could simply resample your images to a larger size in photoshop, just to appease the sitegoers. You will find that you will lose downloads, and your ratings will be significantly lower if you submit lower resolution images (even if the content is amazing). Just a tip. :)
Umm, welcome to the site, but please ignore what noodguy said about re-sampling your images just to get a larger size. It will make the images look much worse (blurry) and it wastes server disk space and bandwidth.
Hi. (:
