The Lair series is quite well done and worthy of far better ratings in my personal opinion. I'd be very curious to see the vote distribution on that also.
The 9 images before that appear that you've been doing some experimenting (and kudos to stretching your range), and some of those photos appear "rough" to me as in I see where you were going with them, but they didn't quite make it. Keep trying, cuz you've got some great stuff in your gallery 8•)

I agree with Cat and disagree with Jerry.
Think 'desktop wallpaper'...try some post work and make it appealing to be utilized as a desktop wallpaper. Upleft corner sez "Caedes Desktop Wallpaper", not "Caedes Photographers Paradise". You have some interesting photos, but that's all they are...photos, try incorporating them into a desktop wallpaper that people would wanna use.
The most important thang....just have fun!! As long as you enjoy it, screw the c-index!! It's a number...BIG deal!! Too many people are too anal 'bout..."I got a low c-index therefore I suck"....whatever!! Do what you wanna do 'cause you can and 'cause you wanna!!
Have fun!! After that....have somemore fun!!

Why do the pictures come out square when the lens is round?? Picture Purrrfect .
:) thank you all. I do have loads of fun here.. nothing stops that for me! Was more curious if it was a trend or just me. Still haven't determined, but in the end that's OK.
